(Step 3) Housing Selection Appointments
If you miss Step 2 and/or applied for housing after the regular process ended, we will contact you individually after you apply for housing and provide you an opportunity to select from available accommodations.
Once Step 1 and Step 2 have been completed, you will be assigned a meeting time to select your housing for next year based on your group (or your individual) Housing Points then the time of submission of your Group/Individual Intention Form.
(Note: The University reserves the right to terminate your housing application if you do not select an accommodation as part of the regular Housing Selection process, or within 2 weeks of application (if not participating in the regular Housing Selection process) or by any other deadlines communicated by Administrative Services. Termination prior to selecting an accommodation does not accrue any termination fees.)
Housing Selection appointment times will be available via your University email, on-line in the mylasalle portal under the Life @ La Salle tab in the Living channel, and available in Administrative Services (Union 205) typically no later than one hour after any given form closes (see Step 2 or Dates to Remember). The Housing Selection appointments will be set to take place on the following dates.
New for the TOWNHOUSES for this Year
Participants in the Housing Selection Process for 2013 choosing to live in the Townhouses will now have the opportunity to designate which roommates will be living in a single and in the double occupancy rooms within the townhouse. As part of Step 2 while applying for a Townhouse (only), each roommate will be expected to confirm their membership in the group and which room type they will be living in (single or double). Information on how to do this will be emailed to each group member after the initial submission by the Group Captain. It is important to decide as a group before participating in Step 2 who will be living in the single rooms and who will be living in the double room.
After Step 3, these assignments will then become each roommate’s permanent assignment (only changeable through regular room change processes). You will not be selecting which single, for example, but who will be in a single and who will be in the double occupancy rooms. Along with this update, housing fees will be adjusted for the 2013-1014 Academic Year to reflect the difference in accommodation type between the single and double rooms within a townhouse. NOTE: This new change only applies for the Townhouse accommodation types.
