Welcome

Welcome to La Salle University!

Along with thousands of American students who have chosen
La Salle to further their education, you have also joined an elite
group of international students who have chosen La Salle for the
same reason. The staff at La Salle’s Multicultural and International
Center (MIC) are delighted to meet you and look forward to helping
you make your experience here one that you will cherish for a lifetime.

As you experience American culture during your stay, we hope that
you will also share the rich aspects of your own culture with the
Lasallian community. Regardless of the purpose of your pursuits at
La Salle, you have also become an ambassador for your country, and
we thank you for making our university a more diverse and vibrant
community through your presence here.

The purpose of this handbook is to help you navigate your way
through the responsibilities and opportunities you have as an
international student in the United States.  It is meant to be a resource
to help you answer questions and enjoy cultural offerings at La Salle
and beyond. However, it is not meant to substitute offerings and
services provided at the Multicultural and International Center,
so always feel free to make an appointment or visit us at any time.
