Meeting Minutes – January 6, 2005

In addition to general business, announcements, and information-sharing, we confirmed the date and format for our January meeting with the Student Affairs Committee of the Board of Trustees; met with a new University Communications staff member; agreed upon a revised meeting schedule for the spring semester which will blend twice-weekly team meetings with a bi-weekly rotation of individual meetings, three per week, between Dr. C. and each of the unit leaders; developed a number of ideas that will enable us to effectively support our student leaders at such time as they act upon the suggestion made by one to lead the University community in raising aid for the victims of the Asian tsunami tragedy; and contributed information to the division’s mid-year report.
