Safety & Security Advisory Committee

Mission

The Safety and Security Advisory Committee advises the Director of Safety & Security and the Vice President for Business Affairs on matters related to safety and security and provides an avenue of communication for concerns and suggestions from all areas of the University. In carrying out its charge the committee shall concern itself with matters relating to delivering appropriate security services to the University community. It shall also be concerned with recommending and coordinating matters relating to campus safety which shall include issues of job safety and compliance with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations effecting safety in the work place. The committee shall review accident/injury reports, monitor trends, and recommend corrective action plans.
