“Participating in Habitat for Humanity was the best decision of my entire life and my favorite activity that I joined during my college career. It’s such a unique experience that brings together students that wouldn’t normally get the chance to meet. Each year the location changes and that changes the dynamic of the trip and the dynamic between participants. We also get to help people in our own country and in different communities each year, which cannot be said of any of the other service trips. Habitat gave me a sense of accomplishment and pride that I have never gotten from anything else in my entire life. I honestly felt that I gained more knowledge of myself and the meaning of service from Habitat than any other event in my life. It is an experience that can never be taken away from me and I wouldn’t give away for anything.”
