It is with much sadness that we inform you of the death of Steven A. Ranjo, Lab Coordinator for Biology and ISBT. Steve was visiting a family member in West Virginia along with his father. Both Steve and his father were killed in a head on collision on Interstate 79 outside of Charleston West Virginia.
Steven is a ’95 graduate of the University and his sister, Christine Ranjo, is a student in our MSN program and a ‘93 graduate of our BSN Program.
Arrangements have been finalized. There will be a viewing Sunday evening June 29th from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at St. Laurentius Church, 1608 East Berks Street, Philadelphia, PA 19125-2804. (Map) On Monday there is a viewing, also at the church, from 9:00a.m. to 9:45 a.m. with a Funeral Mass at 10:00a.m. The viewing/mass is for both Steve and his father, Leo. Steve will be buried first at Rosedale Memorial Park in Bensalem and his father, Leo will be buried after that at a military cemetery nearby.
There are plans for a Campus Memorial once the academic year begins.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
