Meeting Minutes – October 23, 2002

In addition to general daily business, announcements, and information-sharing, we focused on the following topics this week. We reviewed the goals, objectives, and timelines submitted by our divisional teams and committees. Our comments and suggestions will be combined with those of the Student Affairs Committee and will then be shared with the members of the teams and committees to help them continue to shape their work. We completed our discussion of the model for realignment of responsibilities in Community Development. Materials were distributed to assist in our forthcoming review of the plans developed by Community Development to address vandalism and acts of intolerance in our residences. We discussed and approved the University Life proposal to change the placement of the annual Student Awards Ceremony in the spring calendar and set a date for this year’s ceremony: April 23, 2003.
