The Activities Funding Board allotted $22,879.22 to nine student organizations.
The members of La Salle Ambassadors were allocated $3,092 to send seven delegates to the 2004 District II ASAP (Association of Student Advancement Programs) Conference, hosted by the University of Buffalo, February 20-22, 2004.
La Salle Women’s Rugby Club was allocated $1,419.82 for costs related to the spring season. Included are dues, fees, and equipment costs.
The African American Student League was allocated funds for a bus trip to Harlem, New York ($3,920.00) scheduled for February 7, 2004, and $2,000 for a leadership speaker scheduled for February 17, 2004.
Deniece Robinson (student) was allocated $1,650 for a bus trip and tickets to the Broadway show Aida for February 21, 2004.
The Athletics Committee was allocated $2,500 for T-Shirts for the La Salle/St. Joe’s men’s basketball game scheduled for February 7, 2004.
Members of the Phi Alpha Honor Society were allocated $516.00 for the Lobby Day event to be held March 30, 2004 at the Pennsylvania State Capital.
The Resident Student Association was allocated $5,684.00 for MTV’s The Real World program for March 26, 2004.
Members of the Peer Educators were allocated $2,097.30 for a Mock Prom program for February 19, 2004.
The Commuter And Off Campus Student Association (CAOS) request of $23,560.00 for a spring concert for April 17, 2004 was tabled.
