Meeting Minutes – January 24, 2007

We reviewed the responsibilities of the committee members in preparing for this years Health Fair ( March 27th 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Ballroom and Music Room). Questions were raised about the use of Trans fat and Teflon in food preparation. Scott informed the committee that a new system is being put in place that will eliminate all trans fat and that food products that contain trans fat are being replaced with other products with healthier ingredients. No Teflon is used in cooking. The Bed Bug protocol and Travel Health Tips are both complete by the HAC and will be submitted for feedback and approval. HAC will help support collaborative programming efforts to address National Eating Disorder Awareness Week.
